Welcome to Wood Carved Creations by Jeff Banning
Hello I’m Jeff Banning a self taught Artist, Wood Sculptor and Chainsaw Carver, who lives in Louisville Tennessee in the shadows of the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. I have experimented with many different artistic mediums, but found my true passion in chainsaw carving. The thrill comes from releasing what lies within the rings of the wood and bringing the image to life. I use many different tools to finish the sculptures and I can carve rustic sculptures to custom carvings that are completely detailed. I strive to deliver an affordable piece that the client can be proud to display and own.
The only limits are the limits we place on ourselves. I love the detail that can be created by a tool that is as powerful, dangerous and destructive as a chainsaw removing what doesn’t need to be there and leaving what hides within.Jeff Banning
I can carve either on location on a tree you have in your yard or at my shop from a log I supply. Most pieces can be completed in a short time frame.
