Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my carving take?
Most carvings can be completed in a short time. It really depends on the time of year and the detail involved in the carving. I will try to the best of my ability to meet any deadline you have.
Can you carve on-site?
I have a mobile trailer and can carve on site with no problem. Why not turn the tree you loved into a permanent piece of art in your yard by using the existing stump.
Can you ship my carving to me?
I can ship but shipping cost is extra and depending on the size and weight it can be fairly expensive. On larger carvings I can help arrange to either deliver or meet half way to help with cost.
How do I care for my carving?
I suggest you coat your carving yearly with Helmsman spar urethane. I use the oil base version. It helps protect the wood from UV light and moisture.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept cash, check or credit cards. No payment is due until delivery of your carving. Very unique carvings may require a minimal down payment but usually not required.
